In our first guide we covered how to choose the perfect bed, stylish linen and bedding to keep you comfortable and the most luxurious bedside tables and chairs to really give your bedroom a feeling of opulence. In this guide we will continue designing a luxurious bedroom beginning with recommended chests and drawers to store your possessions, stylish mirrors to reflect upon your luxury bedroom, our favourite home fragrances, and tips for styling the perfect ensuite.
Chests and Drawers
Chests and Drawers are an essential component of your luxury bedroom. After all, you will need somewhere practical to store your possessions, however this does not mean that you need to sacrifice style and elegance for practicality. There are a number of things that you will need to think about before choosing the pieces of furniture for your luxury bedroom; how much storage you will need, and the size of the space you are looking to position the piece.
If you require something that has plenty of storage and will be a feature piece in your bedroom, we love theMarylebone Chest with seven drawers and ash burl frame, and the bonus of a locked jewelry tray to store your finest pieces. The shape and frame colour is the first thing to decide when choosing a mirror. Would a conservative round or oval mirror with soft edges and corners such as a Steel Bauhaus Mirror suit your luxury bedroomstyle or would the sharper and edgier shape of a square or rectangular angled mirror such as a City Modern Mirror be more suitable? A lit candle can bring a subtle glow to a dark room and create a soft illumination. The right room fragrance can sharpen the senses and overall feelings of the room.
